Singer, Bella Shmurda, a close friend of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, has used his media platform to demand the arrest of Naira Marley and Sam Larry in connection with his friend’s death.
The statement from the Nigerian singer comes in the midst of ongoing requests for information by the police regarding Mohbad’s death.
Although there is no evidence to prove the cause of his death, Bella Shmurda has used his media page to urge the police to take swift action, otherwise there may be a nationwide protests.
An excerpt from his lengthy statement:
”For the past few days, I’ve been contemplating what to do, or at least get the authorities of the Nigerian police to apprehend at least one person involved in the maltreatment and malicious acts towards Mohbad.”
“Since his passing, his spirit hasn’t left me, speaking a lot in my head and pointing fingers at those who need to be dealt with. In my dreams, I see myself in Canada just a few days ago before he died.”
“I went to see him and shared my plans before leaving. As usual, I came here to visit my family and kickstart my tour, but I can’t do it anymore. I’m not mentally in shape for it, and I’ll be back in a few days.”
