American DJ, record executive, and record producer, Khaled Mohammed Khaled, known professionally as DJ Khaled came through with this song labeled “I’m The One”.
“I’m the One” features a star-studded line-up of artists in especially braggadocio spirits, with Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne and Quavo boasting to the women in their lives that they are “the only one” for them. “I’m the One” is Khaled’s second single from his 2017 album Grateful, following the February release of “Shining.”
The collaboration was teased throughout videos and pictures via the Instagram profiles of the featured artists, showing the making of the music video.
The song debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and UK Official Singles Chart. It became the second song to debut at #1 on the Hot 100 in 2017 making it Bieber’s second feat and Khaled’s first.
Finally, the song was officially released on April 28, 2017 and was produced by DJ Khaled, Bobby Brackins, Nic Nac & DaviDior.
