Nigerian singer and songwriter, Mohbad has reportedly passed away at 27 years of age.
The news of his death was made public by music executives, Ovie on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
The cause of his death is still unknown at the time of writing this report.
Mohbad was a fast rising star in the Nigerian music Industry. He was known for his unique style of music, which blended elements of pop, Afrobeat and hip hop. He was also a skilled songwriter and lyricist.
Mohbad released his debut album “Imole”, in 2022. The album was a commercial success and spawned several hit singles, including “See My Benz”, “Kimi”, and “Rolando”.
Mohbad’s death is a major loss to the Nigerian music industry.
