Ayra Star’s Song Made As A Compulsory Question At A Kenyan University

Students at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa in Nairobi, Kenya, were made to take a compulsory question about Nigeria’s Ayra Starr’s song, Rush.

‘Rush’ was included as a compulsory question for second-year students enrolled in the Department of Marketing and Management.

A Kenyan student took to Twitter to express dissatisfaction with their lecturer over the exam question, criticizing the fact that a musician’s song was the basis for a question, despite their intensive study of other parts of the syllabus.

in the aggrieved student’s word, he wrote:

”imagine this, you’ve studied the whole semester for a unit depriving yourself yourself of any form of entertainment even music and hujawai skia rush by Ayra Starr, you walk into an exam room and this is what you see.”
