Afrobeat giant, Burna Boy has taken a jab at talent manager and music executive, Paulo Okoye following Paulo’s offer of a 5 million naira reward to anyone who could provide information on a troll who wished Davido death.
According to reports, Paulo Okoye had called on people with the troll’s contact details to come forward, stating that he wanted the individual to explain their insensitive tweet.
Shortly after Okoye made the announcement, Burna Boy took to his instagram page to mock him.
He shared a series of laughing emojis and sarcastically commented, “5 million Naira”.
The incident began when a troll directed a death wish towards Davido, sparking outrage and condemnation from fans and industry figures.
Paulo Okoye, in his attempt to address the issues, put forth the reward as an incentive for anyone to help locate the troll and shed light on the motive behind the offensive tweet.
However, Burna Boy’s response indicates his amusement at the situation, as he pokes fun at the 5 million Naira reward offered by Okoye.
The reaction from Burna Boy suggest a lighthearted taunt towards Okoye’s gesture.
It remains to be seen how Paulo Okoye will respond to Burna Boy’s mockery, and whether the search for the troll will yield any results.
