The microphone that Cardi B threw into the crowd during a recent performance has been sold on eBay for almost $100,000.
The Shure Axiet digital microphone was auctioned off by the owner of The Wave, the production company that owns the audio device.
The auction started at $500 and received over 120 bids in about a week. The rapper had asked the crowd to splash her with water at Drai’s Beachclub in Vegas.
However, she became angry when someone later threw ice and liquid on her, resulting in her throwing the mic.
A woman who claimed to have been hit by the mic went to the police, and Cardi was named as a suspect for battery. However, she was cleared last week by officials.
The earnings from the auction will be donated to two charities- the Wounded Warrior Project and local Vegas charity, Friendship Circle Las Vegas.
