Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has after 5 years break following the release of Netflix movie, Lionheart (2018), returns back to the screens.
According to reports, Genevieve Nnaji has adapted the acclaimed book “I Do Not Come To You By Chance” by Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani.
Reports has it that the film is all about a young man who must prevent his family from going hungry.
The film explores the length he would go to protect those he love and is set in the dangerous world of Nigerian email scams.
The prestigious Commonwealth Writer’s Prize for Best First Book (Africa) and the prestigious Betty Trask First Book Award were given to Nwaubani’s literary masterpiece in 2010.
Additionally, The Washington Post’s “Best Books of the Year” list included it, which is a distinction. Genevieve Nnaji works with co-producer Chinny Carter to bring this compelling tale to life in the movie version.
According to Prime Business Africa, the cast includes Blossom Chukwujekwu and new comer Paul Nnadiekwe, both of whom have important roles.
