Israel DMW, the aide of Afrobeat superstar, Davido, has apologized to Muslims on behalf of his boss for the offensive music video that he had promoted.
The video which was deemed to be a desecration of the Islamic religion was widely criticized. Some northern youths had taken to the streets to protest and vandalize banners bearing the singer’s face.
Amidst the whole controversy, Israel DMW has called for love and apologized to the Muslims folks.
According to Israel DMW, the music video had been an entertainment that had been presented wrongly and Davido had only wanted to help promote budding singer’s like he usually do.
He wrote:
”Let me specially apologize to my Muslim brother and sisters, on the video my oga posted, as a result of him wanting to lift up somebody, which is one of his hobbies. It was purely an entertainment effort wrongly presented. Make una no vex. Love you all.”
