The Nigerian superstar singer, Wizkid, who is one of the most popular and successful African musicians of the 21st century has revealed the voice behind his hit song “Everyday”, which was released on his fourth studio album, and was Instantly embraced by his fans around the world.
The lyrics, melody, and the beat of the song made it an instant hit. But what really took the fans by surprise was the captivating opening line by Maya Angelou, which has now become the signature of the song.
Angelou’s stirring words add immense depth and gravity to the song. According to fans, the presence of such an inspirational personality in the song gives it a completely different meaning, far exceeding the scope of the original song.
