Tory Lanez Sentenced To 22 Years In Prison After Being Found Guilty Of Megan The Stallion’s Shooting
Canadian rapper, Tory Lanez has been found guilty of the Megan The Stallion shooting and has bagged 22 years in prison. On Friday, a Los Angeles jury found rapper, Tory Lanez guilty of 3 felonies in the 2020 shootings of hip hop artist, Megan Thee Stallion that left her wounded with bullet fragments in her feet.
The jury contemplated for a day before deciding to convict Tory Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. The counts could lead up to 22 years in prison.
Megan Thee Stallion, revealed that she had gotten into a fight with Lanez and her friend, Harry, as they were driven home by Lanez security guard, Jaquan Smith. Upon highlighting the vehicle, Megan was shot at repeatedly by Tory through the car window while saying “Dance Bitch”.
