American rapper, record producer,cum fashion designer, Ye, more commonly known by his birth name Kanye West and Jayceon Terrell Taylor, better known by his stage name the Game came through with this song they labeled “Easy”.
“Eazy” was originally teased on January 9, 2022, where multiple silent videos of Ye, Game, and Hit-Boy in the studio were posted by Kevin Wong on Instagram. Short snippets of Ye rapping would later surface and later Game for what is assumed to be the same song.
This song presumably belongs to The Game and Hit-Boy as they have posted pictures to Instagram working on a collaboration album. However, when Ye discussed this song and its release date, no specific album was mentioned.
Pusha T was also reportedly featured on the track but he wasn’t involved in the released version.
Ye revealed the original title, “MY LIFE WAS NEVER EAZY” and the cover art on January 13. The title pays homage to the song’s sample, “Eazy Duz It” by the legendary Compton rapper, Eazy-E.
Finally, the song was officially released on January 15, 2022 and was produced by Kanye West, DJ Premier, Big Duke, MIKE DEAN, Hit-Boy & Wack 100.
