American rapper, Dominique Armani Jones, known professionally as Lil Baby came through with this song he labeled “Woah”.
“Woah” is the second single from Lil Baby’s sophomore studio album, My Turn. On the track, he taunts his haters and raps about the luxuries of his lifestyle. The song is seemingly named after the “Woah,” (or “Hit the Woah”), a popular dance that originated in Texas in the mid-2010s and went viral on the Internet, most notably on TikTok.
After announcing the track on October 26, 2019, Baby teased a video snippet of it on November 1, in which he appears doing the “Woah” dance.
During the week ending November 23, 2019, “Woah” debuted at #19 on the Hot 100. During the week ending March 14, 2020, the song peaked at #15 on the chart.
